So we are into May. May. Where has the year gone to? I'm 31 this year how utterly depressing. But nevermind because I'm off on the holidays in a couple of weeks and I think I finally have my holiday kit all sorted and bought. I've even treated myself to a new Bra. Yes indeedy! Its a mammoth 42E, but at least I've had it properly fitted and not rely on trial and error in Evans.
It's quite a trauma getting fitted, having to get all your wobbly bits out in front of a total stranger, but it was OK. Its nice to finally have a bra that doesn't dig in, sag or ride up at the back. I wish I'd done it years ago.
Talking of boobs, I saw Embarassing Bodies the other day and it had a bit on it about man boobs (I love that expression!). I honestly don't see the problem with them. To me, man boobs are an extra bit to lie my head on. Not that the baboon has man boobs, his belly serves as a wonderful pillow, however I wouldn't be against a bit of man boobage to rest my weary head on at night. Men be proud if your man boobs and let your women love them!
On an weight loss update, well it hasn't been going as good recently, however, I've not let it get me down. I cant remember where I'm up to on the weight loss updates, so pardon me if I repeat. After gaining the 2lb, I lost 4lb the following week and the stayed the same the week after. I;ve chatted about this to a few people and the all say the same thing i.e. now I'm exercising, I'm turning fat to muscle. I dont think that actually happens, I think it might be a case fo building muscle up, but I'd much prefer there to be a bit of weight loss invloved with that. I've tried to step up the exercise a bit by going to a gym so we'll see what happens. Weirdly I really enjoy it. Never thought I'd say that!
I managed to fit into my dress for Becki's wedding the other week. I've popped a picture above. It's pre-slap so I look a little gaunt (as always with no makeup), but I think it looks ok. Apart from the shoes and washing everywhere of course. As you can tell I like to give off an air of sophistication! Hopefully it'll do me well for the races when we come back off holiday.
Ooo and I also got the appointment throught for the sleep study, which is going to be this Thursday/Friday. I'll let you know how that goes. I'm not looking forward to the journey though. It's a real slog from here to Cambridge and then back out to Papworth, which is in the middle of bloomin' nowhere! £25 in a taxi from Cambridge to Papworth. I may have to consider offering my "services" to the taxi driver next time I go!
tata for now!
